CLAN GARDNER

The Life & Times of Derrick, Deana & Eddie

Springtime Smiles

...Just Swimmingly

Already 6 weeks into 2010. How time continues to fly! Things are going great for the Gardner household. We are enjoying (or should I say) experiencing the crazy weather that Denver has to offer. One day it can be 55 and sunny and the next barely above zero.

Eddie is loving his school and was excited to be exchanging Valentines with his friends last Friday at their Valentines Party (I'll post my iPhone pics later.) Grandma and Grandpa Wright came to visit for the weekend and it was great to see them and get to spend time with them. They flew in on Friday night and rode the train back to Utah on Tuesday.

Saturday morning we all went to see Eddie at his first swimming lesson for the year. Last year Eddie and Daddy did the "Parent in the Pool" version, but this time around its just him and his little class. We hit a lot of different restaurants in the area over the weekend and took a jaunt up to Boulder as well.

Tutu Guru has one of its best months ever in January as we ramped up for Valentines Day. I know that we are very blessed that Deana had such a great idea and it has become so successful.

Hope all is well and I'll be posting again soon.

Mucho apologies that it has been so long since I updated the blog. Definitely not my style. I will do better. Enjoy the pictures below:

Thanksgiving Time

We had a lot of fun as a family this weekend and we learned the following about Eddie, other than his regular comedic routines. #1 - He doesn't seem to like orange colored foods (yams, pumpkin pie, etc) #2 - Although thrilled by the prospect of going to the BIG TV (movie theater) he still lacks the attention span to sit through a full length movie, as we went and saw "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" on Friday. #3 - When hiding Christmas presents never underestimate the discovery power of a 2 year old as he located one of his gifts that Daddy didn't hide so well and lastly when you bonked your head theres not much a hot dog, a book, and a hug can't fix.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!
